With the victory of Italy, former world champion and Europe, ended the pre-world hang-gliding championship which involved 144 riders converged for a week in Umbria at the site flight Seal (Perugia). The event opens the way to the World Cup to be held in the same place and time next year.

Guiducci (Reggio Emilia), Elio Cataldi (Vittorio Veneto, Treviso), the South Tyrolean and Anton Karl Reichegger Moroder, coordinated by the Technical Flavio Tebaldi (Varese), are placed Austria, France and Brazil. Best for Women Russian Julia Kucherenko.
Some interesting facts: the pilots have flown about 1000 hours total for 36000 km journey through the energy and more natural than that of soil heating by the sun causes air currents upward and allows hang gliding and paragliding, Non-powered , to remain in the air and walk considerable distances.
